Shipping and Return Policy


If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we will provide a refund or exchange the item within 30 days of purchase.*Whether you made your purchase online, or in store, you may return or exchange it by mail at your expense or in store.

With Receipt

Items returned in accordance with Island Outfitter’s guidelines, accompanied by a receipt and in saleable condition will be refunded at the original purchase price, plus applicable sales tax, in the original payment method. Items returned with a gift receipt will be refunded in the form of an Island Outfitter’s gift card.

Without Receipt

Items returned in accordance with Island Outfitter’s guidelines unaccompanied by a receipt will be processed at the lowest selling price in the past 60 days, plus applicable sales tax as per Management’s discretion. Such items may be exchanged for the same product or returned for merchandise credit in the form of an Island Outfitter’s gift card. Island Outfitter’s reserves the right to refuse any return.

Note: Unless an error occurred on our part in the shipment of your order or if the product is defective, shipping fees charged at time of order will not be refunded.

For items damaged in shipment, please call 250-475-4969 or email before returning. Some products we sell are covered by a manufacturer's warranty that requires items to be sent directly to the manufacturer for replacement or repair.

The following items may be exchanged or returned within 14 days of purchase with the original sales receipt:

Electronics: includes action cameras, digital compasses, electronic collars, electric trolling motors, fish finders, GPS, headphones, personal locator beacons, radios, satellite phones, speakers, optics, trail cameras, wearable technology (including watches).

Computer software & DVDs may be returned if the original factory packaging has not been opened.

Optics: includes binoculars, rangefinders, spotting scopes, rifle scopes, & monoculars.

Final Sale items that cannot be returned include:

  • Gun Powder, Primers, Bullets & Reloading Components
  • Arrows (Once cut to length)

A valid government photo ID may be requested to authorize the return where permitted. Certain items can only be returned to Island Outfitter’s where legally permissible.

Get your online order delivered to your door.  Once your order is placed, please allow 48 Hours for your tracking number to activate.  We ship using Canada Post; shipping times may vary. 


This convenient shipping option allows you to place an order and beat the line by picking up in-store. Please wait for your ready to pick up email.


You do not have to leave the car with curbside pick-up!  Once you receive an email saying your order is ready to pick up, come on down to the store.  Once here, just call 250-475-4969 with your name and order number, have you ID ready, and we will bring your items out to you.
