Possibly 5000 fewer hunting permits to B.C. Residents - Meeting hosted by VFGPA and Presented by BCWF

Posted on

Sweeping changes to B.C.’s Wildlife Allocation Policy proposed by the Government would dramatically reduce residents’ access to wild game and increase the number of permits sold to foreign big game trophy hunters.

This change could result in 5,000 fewer hunting permits going to B.C. residents.

Town Hall Meetings have been held across the province with more scheduled.
The Victoria Fish and Game Protective Association is hosting a meeting:
Date:         January 27th
Time:         7:00pm
Place:        Four Point by Sheraton
829 McCallum Road
There will be a presentation by BCWF and a question and answer period.
If you are a resident hunter, or a concerned resident of BC then it’s in your best interest to attend. The Government is proposing to give away up to 40% of our wildlife to non-resident hunters. That means fewer hunting opportunities for us.
Spread the word to your friends about the meeting! Let’s pack the house on the 27th!
There is a call to action, it is up to you!
Coffee and Tea will be served.
